![]() ![]() Re: QTS stuck on loading, QFinder cannot find Nas either. If you ever replace a member drive with a new drive, the new drive must be synchronised with the array. ![]() Its a more involved operation than scrubbing, so it takes longer to perform. If you are using windows 10, try make sure that network discovery is enabled. Which will be needed if a drive fails and the array needs to recover. can try replacing it, but i suspect the issue in this case is something else.Īre you by chance running your pc client in a non admin account? can you try run qnap finder using admin to see if that makes any difference? or possibly reinstall qfinder? Only other thing i can think of is the ethernet cable has a issue. I'm assuming that your qnap leds are all indicative that it is powered on and without issue? usually if there is a serious issue it would blink different led colors or make beeping noises. You can also try reboot your pc, your router and switch, and nas. Any firewalls on your pc is blocking access to the nas? one possible scenario. Qfinder pro cant find the NAS and gives me a message that says 'cannot connect to device. The problem comes when I connect both devices directly using the 10Gbps connection using an RJ45 cable. I can connect to the internet in both devices. I am still able to see the NAS via my phone apps and another computer in the house continues to have the drives mapped to it. Select the radio button for Enable NetBIOS over TCP /IP. Please use the administrators account to login to your NAS web management page and then find and click on myQNAPcloud > myQNAPcloud Link. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4), then click Advanced. Right-click Ethernet, then select Properties. In the past when i use dhcp and router went down then came back up, it usually sometimes resulted in issues for me.Īnother thing is probly firewall. Qfinder Pro has no issues finding the qnap. Can you try the following and then restart your machine. As long as the NAS is in the same broadcast domain, Qfinder should be able to discover the NAS. I recommend you set a static ip in QTS so that the qnap nas ip remains fixed and unaffected if the router goes down. Quote Post by martinav » Sun 1:26 pm I built a new pc. This is not documented in the official manual but is mentioned by users on the Qnap forums. Reset the NAS settings by holding the reset button for three seconds. Turn on Show Advanced in the upper-right corner to expose advanced settings. Also how is your qnap getting it's ip? does it have a static ip setup? or did you do a DHCP? All You Need To Know About QNAP Qfinder Step 1: Launching Qfinder Pro on your Windows or Mac will start displaying all the QNAP NAS devices on your local. Qfinder Pro automatically searches and displays all QNAP devices on the same network. ![]()
